Our goal is to see their lives change. Our focus is rescuing orphans, unadoptable orphans, and elderly people in villages. We have a long-range plan for work, projects, and development. We are committed to changing lives.

Our passion is working with the children that no one wants; the kids that have been rejected by all others. By embracing the outcast, we find value in our work. By changing one life, our work is validated. By feeding one mouth, our goal is met.

Our work is very rewarding. It brings smiles to many faces, and joy to many hearts. This is all possible only with love. Having love enables us to overlook the tiredness and fatigue, and count it all joy. Love allows us to look past the dangers and smile at the stranger on the other side of the road. Love gives us hope that by becoming all things to all men, we just might rescue one.

What We Do

Volunteers

We are always in need of volunteers. Whether you are already in China, or want to come, whether you want to volunteer full time, or only have a few hours a week, whether you are in China full time, or just for a visit... it is our desire to facilitate you in to a position where you can use your love and skills to serve China. We love to receive teams from all over the world. We love to see the volunteers impacted just as much as the children we are here to serve.

A good team is necessary to accomplish good work. Good work needs only love and commitment to be valid. Our Big Stone team consists of people chosen by our head office and invited to be a part of our family. We are working together to impact the countryside with nutrition, education, and psychology. We want to have an impact on those around us. By working together, we will accomplish this. By joining hands, we can proceed toward a common goal.

News Updates

Many times a year, the activities of Big Stone attract media attention. We are glad to have the media report on our work because this will let the public know of the needs, and may urge some people to get involved. In this way, our efforts may be multiplied... not by two, but by two-hundred. Every couple months our founder writes a newsletter which gets e-mailed to thousands of people. These newsletters are all available on this website, in .pdf format.

Big Stone has many ongoing projects and long term plans for future projects. We would love to have you involved. Bring a team, volunteer, come to teach English for a year, sponsor a child, make a donation, commit to pray for us, etc. There are many ways you can be involved, and all of them are just as valid. Take a look at some of our recent work, and decide where you fit in. If you're not sure, just contact us... we could sure give you some suggestions (grin).

Ongoing Projects

Support Our Work

Currently, our work is about 90% funded by Big Stone Business Group. The Big Stone companies were founded just for this purpose: to operate as a for-profit business, in order to fund charity projects. With that said, we could really do a lot more if we had more outside financial support and sponsorship. We could build more bridges if we had more volunteers and short-term teams. None of this would be possible without prayer. We welcome your involvement.
