Big Stone Foundation

Project 365

Our children are rescued from dangerous situations, protcted form their past, enrolled in private schools, and given a chance at life.

Our current fundraising goal, I like to call "Project 365". This is what we want to do… We want to find 365 people to donate $1 a day, 365 days a year. For every ($1x365) donation, we can put one orphan child in full time private boarding school. Finding 365 donors will allow us to bring in the children currently on our waiting list and expand our maximum capacity. Big Stone Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All donations are tax-deductible in the United States.

Big Stone Foundation has a few somewhat impractical and almost unheard of policies about spending. The policies were written by me (and approved by our board). These policies are simple… We spend money designated for the kids, 100% for the kids. We spend money with no designation, 100% for the kids. When money is designated for other uses, and the kids expenses haven't been met, we (with permission from the donor) reallocate the funds, 100% for the kids. No staff is paid any sort of salary or compensation. No administrative expenses are paid out. No travel expenses or other reimbursements are made. No money is spent on fundraising. No bonuses are given. This means that for every $1.00 our donors send, exactly $1.00 goes to help the kids it's intended for.
